Red Pike

Bred by Bryan Dodsworth and registered in 1995.

Named after a favourite Lakeland fell that lies between between Ennerdale and Buttermere.

Sumptuous velvety red and one of the best Dodsworth irises; much admired, a really striking plant. The original name ‘Chateau Lafitte’ describes the true depth and intensity of colour, but was changed for legal reasons.

44” (112cm). Standards and falls ruffled brown; beards brown.

[EU Plant Variety Rights in progress].
