Darley Dale

Discover Darley Dale a Cream White Bearded Iris. A classy iris with great shape and structure – a plant with real impact. One of the last irises raised by my father, justly earning him his final Dykes Medal when he was over eighty. A highly versatile ‘White’ and a must for those who love clear clean cool colours.

Named after one of the celebrated Derbyshire Dales through which the beautiful river Derwent flows, a Trout Stream which my father loved.

Mix this Cream White Bearded Iris with other ‘Cools’ (Blues/Whites) and ‘Softs’ (Pinks/Yellows)

Bred by Bryan Dodsworth and registered in 1998. Dykes Medal 2001.
