Request a Visit or Talk
Following recent publicity, a number of groups and horticultural societies have made contact and enquired about talks and special garden visits. Prices for both talks and visits are available on request.
Visits and Group Visits
We have found it difficult to book group visits too far in advance. This is due to the vagaries of British weather and the impact this has on the time our irises flower. Understandably this does not prove popular with the hard-pressed Events organisers of Garden Societies who need to publicise their programmes well in advance. However, this does not prevent Group Visits being arranged at relatively short notice and this is a route some Societies/Groups use effectively. If this option is of interest please complete the form below.
We publicise Open Days/weekends through our website, local media and by emailing Contacts.

Talks are easier to manage, and there is greater flexibility to fit them into the diary. We try to do most of our Talks between November and the end of April, leaving the summer clear to concentrate on the plants and Shows. To date these have tended to be local, Barry Emmerson deals with those in Suffolk and Simon Dodsworth covers Norfolk. It is possible to cover a wider area, although it is recognised the travel costs involved may make this prohibitive for society event organisers.
Please do get in touch if you would like to arrange a talk on Tall Bearded Irises to your garden group or gardening friends. We are always open to suggestions for suitable topics. All talks are delivered by Tall Bearded Iris experts.
Suggested topics to date include:
- Tall Bearded Irises (Do’s and Don’ts)
- Bryan Dodsworth – Forty Years in Search of Perfection in Form and Colour
